Happy Anniversary by Marji

Today I made an anniversary card using Jack and Sally.  I am a big fan of them and think they are a really sweet couple.
I tried to match the colors in her dress and mimic all the patterns in my layers
I found a linked heart in my cut files and filled it with color for them to hold.
You can find Jack and Sally here in the shop.

Cely's 1st Design Team Post - Once Upon a Time Critters

Aloha Sunsational Stamps fans! Cely here from Hawaii Paper Party and I'm here on this awesome Tuesday with my first DT project! I'll be here every Tuesday with a new one, so check back every week!

I used the stamp set Once Upon a Time Critters.  I inked up the cutie dragon with my Copics and cut him out.  I popped him up on some vellum and stuck it on a card made with brushed silver cardstock, scalloped ribbon, and sentiment stamp from Stampin Up, paper from DCWV Timeless Type stack, and some sequins.  I also added some stickles to his horns and wings.

Hope you liked my first project! Go here to visit the Sunsational Stamps shop!

Just Married Wedding Card

For My Design Team post today I decided to mix it up a bit... no video today... sorry.

I used the Happy Birthday Stamp set which you can find HERE

You can find the rest of the adorable stamps  HERE

You can find the Design Team Blog HERE

This is the image after I colored the base, and shaded the cake. I also heat embossed a swirl design with Iridescent clear embossing powder.

I hot glued some bead strings along the bottom of the cake layers.

I added some pearls and two hearts that I embossed with Silver embossing powder.

I layered some pattern paper on top of some wedding themed pattern paper and I background shape I cut (too small) on my silhouette Cameo.

I popped the cake up with some foam tape (and you can't even tell that I messed the background frame up!!

I added the just married banner that I embossed with silver embossing powder and I adhered the layers to a white card base.

And here is my finished inside.

Thanks so much for stopping bye, please come back again soon~ Carla

Family

Good morning and hope your Saturday will be a great one for you...

Today's posting is a Mini-photo/Journal Album I am creating for my granddaughter and family and utilized the image from Scrapping With Lisa Designs

http://www.scrappingwithlisadesigns.com/images/large/Family1053x745.png

And here is my project:

Basically this will be a Journal/Photo Album of the great-grandkids.  I've included a baby from another file in this project as my granddaughter is expecting a baby girl on July 4, 2015.  Don't want to leave out the baby.

The edges of front cover not covered (not sure I will cover it with washi tape or paper) because I have not completed the inside of the cover.  The pages will include birth, birthdays, holidays and there will be pages or tags for journaling.

Cardstock and design paper from my Stampin! Up stash, the hearts came with a card kit and ribbon a gift from a friend in Canada.  I used Prismacolours and Bic Markers for coloring along with one Copic marker for the skin coloring.  It will be bound using The Cinch from We R Memory Keepers.

Thank you for taking time to visit with me and may you have a blessed day.

Mother's Cards

Hello, I am here for my Friday post with Sunsational Stamps.

I just loved this Mother stamp. I colored them all in with my watercolor markers. One is red, one is pink, one is purple . I am giving these to my mom, sister and swap partner for mother's day.

To see the whole shebang please check out my blog here.

Spring Critters by Marji

How sweet are these little guys?   I am in love!
I cut their faces separately and used foam dots to pop them up.

I added some glitter, gel pen and crystal effects in small places.  I used one of my favorite DCWV paper stacks called the Butterfly Garden, I thought it was a perfect match.

And my favorite one today, this guy, I glued the hoppy spring words to him then used an action wobble to mount him to the card! (sqeeeeeeeal!!!) So fun!!

I turtley love Spring

Oh my goodness, woke up this morning and it is snowing here in Kalamazoo Michigan.  I can't believe it. I thought Spring was here to stay and now it seems if winter wants to come back and play.  Hard to believe that I am turning my heat on at the end of April.  Shaking  my head to that.

My card is showing how much I like Spring anyway.  This stamp set comes with this cute girl riding
her pet turtle and the fun sentiment "I turtley love Spring"  I do I do  :)   Come back where ever you are.  :)

I've distressed my paper edges a bit and kept it clean and simple.  Don't you think the image speaks
for itself?  I'm thinking it would look darling on a layout too.

If you like this image you can find it at the Sunsational Stamps Shop here:
http://www.sunsationalstamps.com/
There are two others one says I turtley love Snow, and the other says I turtley love you.  This
fun turtle is also on the animals page all by himself if you just want him by himself.  :)  I say
get 4, might as well have a full set :)

Girl with Dandelion

Here is a fast fun card using the "Girl with Dandelion" which can be found here.  I however chose to color my dandelions pink and then make my card with this fun butterfly paper.

Turtly Sweet !

Welcome to Sunsational Stamps Today I have another cute note card for you using the
"Hoppy Spring" collection which you can find if you click on the title.  Here is my card

Isn't he just the cutest Little turtle ever. I used a piece of Kraft card stock for the base  All the other pieces of paper were taken from my scrap bin as well as pieces that I created for other projects but never used ( trying to use up some of my scraps) Added a piece of green ribbon and a bow. I embossed the pink piece with an Anna Griffin embossing boarder from one of her sets and the while mat with a cuttlebug folder.

This is the stamps set Love that the eyes are  separate and you can choose anyone that you like for your critter.

Thanks for stopping by Till Next time!

Girl with Dandelion wishing you Happy Mother's Day

http://www.sunsationalstamps.com/images/GirlWithDandelions246x347.png

Supplies used:
  1. Card base from Silhouette Design Store which I retweaked by using a die to cut the die cut from the back of the center step card. (viewed a video on youtube.com on how to create this technique.)
  2. Design paper from my stash of paper
  3. Happy Mother's Day was stamped (using my new tool MISTI stamping alignment tool), than scanned into Silhouette Studio DE and created the back shadow.  Print and cut the sentiment and cut out 2 poster board back shadows and foam taped below the Girl with a Dandelion.
  4. Card base could actually be heavier card stock but once I got started I just kept right on.
Thank you for visiting with me today, and hope you all have a happy crafting weekend where the sun is shining and no rain falling.

Get well soon by Marji

Today I've got several sweet get well cards to share with you.
Keeping them light and sweet to brighten the darkest day.
I added crystal effects to the eyes and tears so they are shiny.
I call this one "A spoon full of sugar"  I added some crystal effects to the spoon then covered it with diamond glitter.

And last but not least, I mounted the band aid on an action wobble.
